Offseason Moves

  • Matt Curl, Promoter at Fairbury American Legion Speedway become the new tour director in 2018
  • Erik Grigsby joins World of Outlaws as Race Director
  • Chris Madden will team up with Barry Wright in 2018 to chase title after a runner up finish in points in 2017
  • Brian Shirley will driver for GR Smith in 2018 on the WoO tour, GR Smith won the World 100 in 2017 with Jonathan Davenport
  • Mike Marlar, the two-time Knoxville Nationals Champ will run the tour in 2018
  • Minnesota driver Brent Larson will make a run for Rookie of the Year in 2018 after chasing the Hell Tour in 2017
  • “Hollywood” Timothy Culp will run the schedule in 2018
  • Chase Junghans will return to the WoO Series this year after running part of the schedule in 2017
  • Chris “Fergy” Ferguson will run for Rookie of the Year on the World of Outlaws tour in 2018
  • Brandon Overton will return to the World of Outlaws tour in 2018
  • After running a partial schedule in 2017 Billy Moyer Jr will return for the tour this year
  • Last years National UMP Champ Rusty Schlenk will take his CJ Rayburn housecar on the World of Outlaws tour in 2018
  • Tyler Millwood will attempt to run the whole schedule in 2018
  • David Breazeale joins the rookie class for the year

Returning Drivers

  • Brandon Sheppard will try to go back to back on the World of Outlaws tour in the Rocket house car
  • Veteran driver Rick Eckert will make another run at the World of Outlaw title
  • Last season’s Rookie of the Year Devin Moran will look to improve on his 4th place finish in the points last season
  • The “Georgia Bulldog” Shane Clanton will look to challenge for another title
  • “Terbo” Tyler Erb hot off speedweeks in Australia will look for a top 5 points finish in 2018

Offseason Moves

  • Earl Pearson Jr leaves Dunn Benson Motorsports for 2018 to go drive the Black Diamond House car.
  • Jonathan Davenport leaves the GR Smith ride at end of 2017 to drive for Lance Landers in 2018 and compete for the Lucas Oil Title.
  • Bobby Pierce leaves his family owned Pierce seat to drive for Dunn Benson Motorsports in 2018 and get his first shot at a National Tour.
  • Kyle Bronson will run for Rookie of the Year honors in 2018 in the Lucas Oil Dirt Series driving a Longhorn Chassis.
  • Donald McIntosh will also run for Rookie of the Year honors in 2018.
  • Ryan King will drive a Warrior Chassis in hopes of competing on the Lucas Oil Tour.

Returning Drivers

  • Josh Richards won his 1st Lucas Oil Championship in 2017 and looks to defend with the Best Motorsports team in 2018.
  • TMac Tim McCreadie will look to improve one spot in the points in 2018 after big wins in Silver Dollar Nationals and the North South 100.
  • Scott Bloomquist will return in 2018 to the Lucas Oil Series where he will be a real threat for 2018 title.
  • Don O’Neal will be back in 2018 after big Crown Jewel win at Cedar Lake and 2 wins on the Lucas tour in 2017.
  • Darrell Lannigan  coming off a season of resurgence in 2017 will run in 2018 for the Boyer Dirt team.
  • 2017 Rookie of the Year Hudson O’Neal will look for a breakout year after the biggest win of this career at Gateway Dirt in December.
  • The Newport Nightmare Jimmy Owens is prepped and ready for 2018 season to start.
  • Dennis Erb Jr a consistent driver on the Lucas Oil Series will look to return to victory lane on the 2018 Lucas Oil Tour.
  • 2017 Rookie Gregg “The Truth” Satterlee will look to improve on a top 10 points finish in 2018.
